Day 7 - Breakfast at Hotel -> Grand Canyon -> Lunch at Canterra -> Desert View -> Steak Dinner at Red Raven's.

After a good night's rest and a full breakfast, we set off for Grand Canyon South Rim which was an hour drive away. South Rim is recommended over North.
Breakfast was again the normal fare, nothing to shout about.
A snow covered IMAX theatre at Tusayan greeted us as we pulled in for a toilet break and to buy the entrance ticket to Grand Canyon from the ticket machine. It costed USD30. Tickets can be bought from the ticket booth at the entrance too.

Snow covered Grand Canyon welcomed us as we approached Mather Point & Yavapai

Lookout Studio at Bright Angel Lodge

El Tovar Hotel

Hermit Rest which is normally closed to private car but open to private cars during winter was also closed so we had to turn back towards
the west. Before venturing to the west, we decided to have lunch first.
Lunch was at Canterra at Bright angel dining room, Grand Canyon. The food here was not so good or tasty.

After lunch,we continued to the west towards Desert View. First stop - Grandview Point

Colorado River can be seen from here.

Moran and Lipan Point were next

Last point was Desert View

Wow, what a trip and view! By the time we arrived at hotel, it was dark already. After a short rest, we drove to downtown to have dinner
The highly recommended steak house in town was Red raven's.
