Day 4 - Lunch at California Pizza -> Check in Comfort Inn, Monterey

The hotel room was not ready for check in when we drove there after visiting Point Lobos Natural Reserve at around 11am. So we headed for lunch
at Del Monte Shopping Centre two blocks away. Settled for lunch at California Pizza. My colleague recommended me to try it. He said it tasted better in US.
Bread & olive oil

Ordered 2 pizzas, one thin and one normal and a chicken spagetti for 5 of us.

Vegetable pizza - California CLub pizza

And finally the creamy, yummy tiramisu.

Total bill was USD 70 including 15% tax. The food tasted ok.
After lunch, we bought water and got back at the motel. By this time, the room was ready for check-in.
Again, we booked a suite with 3 queen beds. This suite had only 1 bathroom and toilet. Water pressure was very good and the water was hot.
There was a heater in the attached bedroom. The corner room was big and we parked our car just outside the room which was on the ground level
so it was very convenient. The location of the motel was also very convenient as it was very near to Del Monte Shopping centre.
We paid 230.90 USD for a night, slightly higher than that of Gilroy. Breakfast was included. Pretty good deal. Only problem is this motel
does not have on site self laundry service.
Two queen beds in the spacious main room. Wardrobe on the right

There was a room safe too.

There was a fridge, microwave and coffee and tea.

There was a round table with chairs
