Bangkok 4D/3N Trip Day 1 - Dinner at Nam Sing, Chinatown

After exploring Terminal 21, it was off to Chinatown for dinner. It was peak hour so the MRT was jam packed with people going back after work. Finally we reached and there was an on-going construction near the station exit. We had to make a long detour to get to Chinatown. Finally settled down at Nam Sing, which was as quiet as before with only 2 customers. And free flow of refreshing iced chrysamtham. Lovely! The taste of the drink reminded me of the roadside "birdnest" drink I had when I was a child.

Kang Kong/Morning Glory with chilli padi - Nice! 100baht.

Crab Fried Rice - somehow with very few pieces of crab. More prawns though. Maybe times are bad. Tasty though. 200baht.

Two bowls of blood birdnest - 4th grade - 200 baht/bowl.

Condiments to go with the hot birdnest. Can't get this at Manboonkhrong.

When we were here last year same time, same weekday, the place was dead quiet. Tonight, the place was lit up with lighted signboards brighly and bustling with people and business though it was raining.
